SECOND/THIRD QUARTER RECAP AND FOURTH QUARTER OUTLOOK- 2010

The second quarter of 2010 was extremely busy and we completed a number of highly successful projects.

In June, we were the Production Managers or the third annual Gettysburg Festival. The event was an overwhelming success and we are in the early planning stages for the 2011 Festival. In addition to our role as Production Managers, we also acted as the Interim Artistic Director and were sponsors of the Festival.

Also in June (and through July 4th) We worked as the Production Managers for the 2010 Wawa Welcome America Celebration, Philadelphia's highly acclaimed July 4th Festival. This Festival attracted tremendous crowds and was also tremendously successful.

In August, our President, Ira Rosen traveled to Hawaii and presented a training seminar to festival organizations as a consultant to the Hawaii Tourism Association. He also did training seminars for the Pennsylvania Tourism Department.

September will see the latest version of our great children's festival; Fairytales and Fables at Jenkinsons in Point Pleasant, NJ. This is a great way to end our busy summer season.

We have secured several pieces of new business recently including 2 major consulting projects; one for the Philadelphia Parks Department and one for the Mayor's Office of Special Events in Lancaster, PA. We have also secured a grant on behalf of Temple University's Event Leadership Certificate program to continue our training program in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Ira continues to serve on the New Jersey Travel Industry Association (NJTIA) Board of Directors, the Executive Committee for the Philadelphia Flower Show and the Planning Committee for the New Jersey Governor's Tourism Conference.

Ira is teaching two undergraduate level special events class at Temple University in the fall and he continues on a consulting project for them to develop and grow their IFEA Gold Pinnacle award-winning Event Leadership Certificate program. He is also teaching a one credit weekend graduate class at George Washington University in DC.
